main page in main frame instead of update options (pic included)

      03-03-2007
for some really odd reason, all my mechines (xp sp2) open a new windows
update main page (with a new set of frames)

i had tried reverting microsoft update to windows update, still the same
switch to microsoft update again, also the same

update histroy, settings all those options works fine...

here is a pic of my situation of one of my mechine

my last succesful update was 14,feb... havnt install any new software or do
some major system settings on all mechines

oh btw, express update and auto updates works fine...

I suspect the problem is your Language setting.
E.g. using IE's Tools, Update command here is what I get in my Address bar

http://update.microsoft.com/microsof....aspx?ln=en-us

Notice the difference? I have ln=en-us. You have ln=en only.
I don't think that that is a valid language choice.

no, it is not about the languge... actually i change it to en, because my os
is not an english windows and we all speak english here, so...

but yea, GaryM got the ticket, thanks a lot... ^-^
