Major Issue?

I have vista and now since I have installed a dell 926 all-in-one printer and
installed image mixer software for a digital camcorder, my laptop seems to
never shut down properly. I have to log off then shut down, however, now
sometimes that does not even work. Now my printer sometimes does not read.
Then I sign off and then the printer reads and prints my documents. Could
this be all because of vista?

First off...was the machine running OK before you installed the image mixer
software?
If so, the software may not be "Vista approved"

Also... why not disconnect the printer...then try booting up
and shutting down...could be a problem with your all-in-one device
