I was a winner of the back.door.barbew.l trogan and I ended up
re-formatting my HD. When I go to Windows Update, it just sits there. I have
scanned my entire system in Safe Mode with System Restore OFF, I have
downloaded Spybot and Adware something, ran them and found and removed many
other viruses. I have only been to Microsoft and Symantec websites since my
re-install. MSBalster is in microsoft's site but I had my Virus protection on
and got it. How can I get the UPDATES I need to get back to SP2?I ordered SP2
on CD because I could not find a way to download it. I am not even sure if I
have been Updated to SP1 yet, because when it says it will take a minute to
search for updates, I can sit and stare at a blank white screen for hours.
