I want to run Vista the same way I always ran XP and that is with a limited
user account and if some game or app needs admin level access I grant it
and enter the admin password to run it. I want to do it this way because I
am fed up with UAC in the regular account. But it seems that once you turn
off UAC you never get any prompts to run as admin and under a limited user
account. Selecting run as admin does nothing and just runs the program as
normal user. There is no way to run anything with admin level access in
limited user account. WTF! This means I have to keep switching back and
forth between regular user and limited user to get any admin level access.
They should have put in options to run Vista both ways for those of us that
know how to run a computer securely without the annoyance of UAC.
Dumbasses. This behavoir better be changed in Windows7 because I run my PC
how I want and not how Microsoft thinks I should.
