How to make Windows Defender go away, all away?

Hi,

I want Windows Defender to stop doing anything at all, just go away. I
have tried to disable the Windows Defender service, but I am still
having start-up programs I want blocked. I tried to start Windows
Defender to allow them and then shut it off again, but there's no way
to simply allow programs. I just can't stand this baby sitting
mentality in Vista! I'm sick and tired of spending more time getting
rid of things than installing and configuring them. So again: How do I
make Windows Defender stop doing anything at all? I have other
software I have used for years for this kind of thing, I do not want
or need more, especially ones that I can not override.

And please do not start telling me how it wouldn't hurt to have
Windows Defender, and how it would be a bad idea to get rid of it etc.
I know how that's being helpful and considerate, but I do not need it.
I know what I am doing, and how to protect myself against myself, and
it has nothing to do with Windows Defender!

We are all users like you who volunteer information & advise to those who
seek it.
We don't need your raving and ranting, dump Vista and use another OS,
because Defender is built into Vista

I actually managed to fix this. I did some search and found a tweaker
(XdN Tweaker) which can totally disable UAC (and a lot of other stuff)
with one click and a reboot. My programs starts fine now at boot. Now
with the Defender service I am no longer bothered at all!
