How to make Windows Update stop showing Microsoft Update?

I am old fashion and I still prefer Windows Update's UI with Office
Update separate. Is there a way that I can stop Microsoft Update showing
up that happens once in a while and randomly? I tried its MS Update
before, and I didn't like it since it doesn't give me all updates
especially with OLD products (e.g., Office 2000).

Thank you in advance.

go to the Microsoft Update homepage and choose "Change Settings", scroll down the
page until you see the option to "Stop using Microsoft Update" and select the
"Disable Microsoft Update software.." Checkbox and click "Apply changes now"
