Hey everyone,

I am running WSUS 3.0 and I deleted a computer group with all the PCs in it.
Can someone tell me how to make WSUS rescan for all computers on the
network?

Thanks,

Clayton

[Aside from what PA Bear commented on the wrong group...]

You shouldn't have to do anything. If you delete a group or a PC. They will
reappear within the next 24 hours under "Unassigned". You can re-create the
group and reassign them. I heard a future version will allow redetection via
the console.

To push the time closer youneed to run locally:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow
[Sysinternals' PSEXEC may help on doing this remotely. See
http://live.sysinternals.com . You'll need to test.]
