Just wondering if anyone knows of a software to install so that when we get
emails, etc from Word 2003, it will be compatible to my Word 2000 so that it
is not gibberish when I print.....someone mentioned there could be a fix for
this.....

Word 2000 and Word 2003 are compatible...there is no software that you are
referring to.

Is it gibberish when you view/open it on screen also or only when you print?

Is this a Word document or an email message that you are having the problem
with?

You didn't say anything originally about MS word 2007, did you!!!!!
Yes, it could be. Download the compatibility pack from MS.

Looking at the entire conversation...

- Is it an Office 2003 document or Office 2007 document you are getting
(does the file extension end with an x - like "*.docx"?)
- Is it only when you *print* that things go to garbled status?
- Is it *any* printer - even if you install a free PDF printer (like
PDFCreator) and print to PDF?

If it is Office 2007 documents - you might try the compatibility pack...
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

If only when you print - do the PDF test *and* update your printer drivers
to the latest as provided by the prionter manufacturer on their web page for
the operating system you have. ( PDFCreator -
http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator/download )

You could also get a Word Viewer...
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Combine it with the 'Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats' from above and you can view/print all word
documents through 2007.

1. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and click on the link to make
Microsoft Update your default; or...

2. Check in at Office Update
