making picutres smaller that were e-mailed to you

I have about 10 pictures sent to me. When I open them up they are so large I
can only view sections at a time how can i make the picture smaller so I can
view the whole picture

Save the pictures. Then open the pictures outside of Windows Mail.

Copy them into your pictures directory.
Then view them with the inbuilt vista picture viewer. This can zoom
out.
