Making programmes available for all users

I have discovered that many of the programmes I have downloaded since
installing Vista are not available to other user accounts on the computer.
For example, as the administrator I run windows live messenger, but if I log
on as a guest, the programme cannot be found.

Can anyone help me figure out how to make all the installed applications
available to all users? Thanks

the programs are there, only the shortcuts are mising in the start menu
