You should be able to integrate SP2 into your XP Pro CD just fine.
The only catch is that in order to use (even the integrated SP2 CD) the
upgrade CD - you still need to supply qualifying media.
In other words - you should be able to use something like "AutoStreamer" to
integrate SP2 into your Upgrade XP Pro CD and create a New CD. That CD -
once burned - will be able to be used to upgrade or install Windows XP
Professional on a machine (an upgrade CD can install "from scratch" as long
as you have qualifying media (like a Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP Home CD) to show
it when it asks during the install process.)
Otherwise - if you just want to backup your system so you can get it back to
a certain state at any given moment.. Look into imaging the machine.
Symantec Ghost, etc.
