The above error was caused on my desktop and laptop using W2000 requiring
reloading of the operating system. I am now using xp pro SP 2, can I safely
load MST??

I certainly don't know whether you personally can safely run MRT. Operating
systems as so very very complex that what runs almost everywhere may not run
on a particular system.

I can assure you however that it has run successfully on my SP2 machines
since it first appeared.. It has never found anything and has never caused
a single problem.
