Does Microsoft have a graphical tool for managing SPNs? I know you can query
with setspn, but there must be an easier way, isn't there?

Not to my knowledge. SPNs are stored as a multivalued attribute -
there's no magic behind them as they're stored as simple strings. You
can write your own VBscript if you wish so.

Cheers,

Hi
In the new Windows 2008 or 2008 R2 you can manage objects properties
(including SPNs) using the Active Directory Users and Computers, this is
also true if you're using the Remote Server Administration Tools for Vista
or Windows 7.

I hope that the information above helps you.

Do you consider ldp.exe to be a graphical tool? It probably isn't what you
had in mind, but you can easily use it to view, query and modify SPNs in the
directory. I use it exclusively over setspn for managing SPNs as I find it
so much easier to use it to check for duplicates and see what already
exists.

Thank you Jorge, yes you are right. If you have advanced features turned on,
you can manage SPNs on the Attributes tab in active directory.

Thanks for the tip.
