Automatic Updates are set to "Notify ... but don't automatically download or
install".
When opening Windows Update, it displays list of available updates and I
"check" the ones I want.
EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT connected to the internet, WU shows immediately that
"downloads are available to install" . And I proceed to install them
successfully. (The selected downloads are 10+MB & I'm on dialup... if I were
connected.)
It would appear that the updates are still being downloaded to my system
automatically while I'm online at other times.
Is this true for WU?
If not, how/when did the updates get "downloaded"?
Or does "download" have a different definition for WU?
