Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me out with this one. I installed the latest
critical updates from MS windows update on my clients server running Windows
2000 SP4. After the reboot I can't seem to start certain services, certain
services fail to start but yet I get no errors in the system or app logs. I
cant open add/remove programs, it just sits there, no hour glass, no nothing.
If I double click on a device in device manager, it freezes up. I have no web
access, but yet I can connect to another host using either T.S. or PC
Anywhere. I'd like to know if there is a way to manually uninstall the
updates without going through add/remove programs. If anyone can help me out
with this one it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

%windir%\$NtUninstallKB<some KB number for update here>$\spuninst\spuninst.exe

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows or C:\Winnt)
