Many of my files are hidden. Please help me show them!

Well, I was in one of my Vista computers that has Call of Duty 4 on it
and I was trying to get the profile to put it onto my game computer. I
looked up a guide to see how it was done and the guy said something
checking off the show hide folders thing. When I did it, it hid my
entire desktop, one of my users, and many other things. I still have the
programs I think, just the folders are gone. Please help me show them!
My dad will be very mad if I don't get them to show again. Please help!
Do I go into folder options?

Hello ctophman,

As always, you should make sure that you have got a working system restore
point before you run any test, download or install a new game, application,
or software update, you make changes to your computer.

Try a restore point.

I'm sure you'll get more detailed help from the guys who know a lot more
than me about Call of Duty 4, but I hope this is enough to get you on the
right road for now.

Hello Ctophman,

This tutorial should be able to help you see the hidden files and
folders. OPTION TWO is used to allow you to "Show" the hidden files so
that you can see them, and OPTION ONE is to actually hide or unhide
individual files and folders.
