How many times can you do a repair upgrade on vista

I already did a upgrade repair install on vista. Can I do another upgrade
repair install on a system that has already been upgraded.

Actually, its not called a Repair 'upgrade', but the Repair option is part
of the new and improved Recovery Environment tools in Windows Vista. When
you start from your Windows Vista installation DVD, it checks for errors in
your Windows Vista installation on your hard disk and tries to fix any
broken system files it finds. It does not affect your personal files,
settings or applications.

It's called a repair *installation* (although I hate the name, which
confuses many people, and wish it was simply called a "repair"
instead), not an "upgrade repair install."

You can do it as often as you want or need to do.

But note that it solves *some* problems, and has no effect on others.
It is not the cure-all that some people think it is.
