during file trasfer?

Similary for msn messenger 7.0.

Hi,

Yep, 1GB is fine. However, basic Messenger file transfer does not support resume, so if it
disconnects then you will have to start again.

The Sharing Folders feature in Windows Live Messenger does support resume however.
