May I delete "C:\29ed76a76ea1aa379641b86eade0df5e\sp2\update\up date.exe" in windows XP Professional?

Dear All,

I have recently installed windows XP professional on my Toshiba.
After a while I found the following file on the hard disk

"C:\29ed76a76ea1aa379641b86eade0df5e\sp2\update\up date.exe".

Actually I could not see the content of the directory initially;
to be able to see it I had to make some changes affecting the
property and permission of the subdirectories containing it.

My question is: Can I delete it and remove the subdirectories
containing it? It sees to me that some directories are created
and deleted in the process of updating by windows. Maybe this
directory has not been properly removed. But of course I am not
so sure!

Any help is greatly appreciated.
