Anyone have an idea as to what version of XML parser is required for MBSA 2.1
and/or Microsoft Update Inventory Tool? None of the March/April Office
patches are showing as required and I'm thinking it might be the version of
XML parser - 3.0, no SP - that I'm running.
Thanks!

Good question:

No mention of an XML parser is listed. In the Help file of MBSA 2.01 the
requirements are better detailed. Both Local and Remote scanning show:

The forwarding link goes to Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0.
I've been running MBSA 2.01 with MSXML 4 SP2 installed with no issues in
XP SP2.
Can't speak for 2.1 yet. <w>
