Have you looked into Control Panel (Classic Mode) and then into
Programs and Features?

PS: I first posted it without the quote, sorry. I wonder how my post
got ahead of the OP's post.

..
If there is no entry in the Programs and Features section of the Control
Panel then use the removal tool. If there IS an uninstall entry in the
Control Panel then I recommend using Revo Uninstaller (freeware) since it
will get the bits that the typical uninstall will leave behind.

Posts appearing out of order means one of you has a system clock that i
incorrectly set, either time or timezone-wise, or both. The McAfe
removal tool previously linked will remove it, provided it was a hom
product, as against Small Business or Enterprise

What is the best way to remove McAfee Security Suite that cam
pre-installed on my system? (McAfee shows up in Control Panel -
Programs & Features)

1) First go to Control Panel -- Programs & Features and choos
"uninstall", then follow that up by running the McAfee Consumer Product
Removal tool (MCPR.exe)

2) Just use the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe)

3) Just use Revo Uninstaller
