ME scans, no download

My second system has ME installed.

WindowsUpdate scans the system ok and lists required updates.

Click on Install and the window comes up but the downloads never start. I
clicked Cancel after 30-minutes of nothing happening.

Any ideas as to what could be preventing the downloads from starting? I have
a cable modem with 3.0Gb down so speed and size are not issues. Downloads to
system 1 are not a a problem. (Linksys router is between modem and systems.)
