Perhaps my confusion is the result of MSFT's carelessness in applying
or not applying the local culture to the variety of timestamps
reported in Event Viewer. So with my timezone = EST, now that I stare
at Event Viewer once more,
the "Logged" time = 3/3/2008 12:43:40 PM
and if I add 5 hours to convert to UTC then I get: Wake Time: 3/3/2008
5:43:38 PM
I had noticed some search hits about misleading / lazy application of
local timezone but it didn't register until I saw your response.
