Media Center - no sound with Live TV

Dear all,

I've searched and browsed the internet for this error but couldn't find a solution yet. Let me explain how my computer is set up.
I've got a Hauppauge HVR-1200 TV card which is connected to my set top box using a S-Video and audio cables. The speakers are connected to an amplifier and I hear all windows sounds, can play music and even watch movies without any audio problems.
As soon as it gets to watching Live TV there is no sound.

Your inputs and solutions are highly appreciated.
