Media Player 11 very choppy and out of sync with sound... Vista Ultimate.

Hello everyone,
I am having a common issue with Media Player 11 being choppy and out of sync
with the sound. I found and resolved this issue from the internet awhile
back but for the life of me can't remember what the solution was... some
setting change.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

btw, I had to reinstall Vista so the settings have now went back to Vista's
default.

nothing on the link works

I was able to do it before with just unchecking or checking something....
urrrr, wish I remembered.
