Media Player Reassings Album Artist

I download a lot of mixtapes that cannot be found using the conventiental
method of "Find Album Info", so I manually enter the information and paste
the album art.

A problem has formed recently that is EXTREMELY annoying. As I'm entering
information, songs will randomly revert back to their original Album Artist
and break the album up into dozens of different artists. I drag them back to
where they belong and within moments they separate again.

The song title and contributing artist also divert back in this process.

I use Windows Vista Home Premium Edition and Windows Media Player 11.
