I'm trying to setup wmp11 to share my media with my xbox360 over my
wireless network. when i try to turn media sharing on i get an error
messege "Media sharing has been turned off because a required Windows
setting or component has changed. For additional assistance, click Web
Help" the "web help" page tells me "You've encountered error message
C00D0FF4" and carries on explaining to me how to manually start the
Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service using the "services" tab of
the computer management page. the big problem with that is that i cant
find anything to do with windows media player on that page. lots of
windows media center services but no media player services. this is
really starting to drive me crazy! soon I'll just have a broken xbox
stuck in the middle of my computer screen. any help would be very
appreciated.

Is it Windows 7? Change your account settings to make the OS Windows 7
It says Vista. If it is Vista, how did you get Media Player 11 for it?

Anyway, this solution is for Windows Vista, and may be slightl
different for Windows 7. In the Network and Sharing Center, there is a
option 'Media Sharing'. Enable it
