Mediacenter taskbar notification

I used to have mediacenter warn me with a red record icon notification on the
taskbar, when it is recording a tv show. But suddenly it has diasppeared. I
have checked in the mediacenter settings if the taskbar notification option
has been selected.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to get the red record icon
notification in the taskbar back?

Look for a little arrow in the notification area where the icon may be
'hidden'.

You can adjust which icons get shown or not shown via taskbar properties
[Right-click taskbar > Properties > Notification Area .... ]. Look at the
settings for the red icon there.

I usually have to log off, then log back on for the red dot to show up
again.
