MediaPlayer stopped working when Vista was installed

Now when I go to watch TV I get this error message. "set up error, the
configuration setup for your region could not be determined please restart
your computer and try again" Tried this over and over and it still does not
work. Any ideas out there on how to get the TV turner back?

What media player are you using to watch TV? If you are using Windows Media
Center you might want to run through the setup dialogs and give it fresh
information. If you are using an application provided by your computer maker
or the card manufacture try reinstalling it and also checking with their web
site for any updates or incompatibilities with Vista SP1.

If that doesn't help, I'd start with going into your device manager and
checking the status and driver for your TV tuner. You can uninstall the
tuner and have it be recognized on reboot to see if proper driver installs,
you can revert to previous driver if one is listed (revert dialog appears
enabled), you can go to TV tuner manufacturer's site to download latest
driver.

In any event, please provide us with a bit more information so we can try to
help you. Computer maker, TV Tuner card model, Media Application you are
using.
