Meeting Requests - No Accept/Tentative/Deny

I am seeing a problem with Exchange 2007 and Activesync (specifically the
iPhone).

1. Internal User on Exchange 2007 sends a meeting request, the iphone is
alerted and the user can accept or deny the invite.
2. External User on Exchange 2003 or 2007 sends a meeting request, the
iphone receives the message but does not display a meeting invite request.
The calendar is updated and the options to accept or deny are not displayed.

It seems that external users are not being requested for a response.
Although OWA seems to display the options from the external users.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Mark

Hi,
I just tested creating an appointment and inviting a user with an iPhone and
it prompted me to accept the appointment on the iPhone.

The PC I originated the appointment on was using Outlook 2007 with POP3
e-mail.

The iPhone was synchronizing using Exchange 2007. The OS version of the
iPhone is 2.2.

So it could be a problem with where the appointment is originating from.
