Hi

did try posting this in the outlook group - but got not response!

I have a user that is running outlook 2003 on our SBS network running
exchange
2003. Most users can succesfully use meeting requests - however, if a
meeting request is sent to one particular user, he receives the email but it
doesn't show the accept, decline options.....it looks like this:

When: 12 November 2009 10:00-10:30 (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time : Dublin,
Edinburgh, Lisbon, London.
Where: Chris's diary

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

with the stars and bits at the bottom! I have tried to cleanfreebusy but it
didn;t work.

Any help gratefully received

From what you've posted, it looks like a meeting that was already accepted.
Did the meeting request populate the calendar? If so, the person's Outlook
options could have been set to auto-accept meetings.

Hello JD,

Thanks for your post and Ace's input.

I am with Ace that please first check if "Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations" is enabled.

To add extra information, if you have granted one or more persons delegate access to your calendar or if you have delegate access to someone else's calendar, turn off
automatic acceptance of meeting requests. By turning off automatic acceptance you avoid problems with delegate workflow.

Automatically process meeting requests

More information:
Outlook meeting requests: Essential do's and don'ts

However if the issue persists after you have excluded the Automatically Accept option, I would like you create a new Outlook Exchange MAPI profile and use Online Mode
instead of default Cached Mode and monitor if the issue still occurs.

How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003

Hope this helps.
