you many responses.

Two different problems.
a) It is normal to not have much free memory, this is by design of the OS.
It is supposed to use all the physical memory it can, that which is not in
active use is often used for caching. Free memory is wasted memory. New
processes initiated simply push out lower priority ones (usually to pages)
until they are needed again.
b) Without error codes and details, any answer you get on the blue screen
would be a wild guess. Please provide exact details if you want any real
assistance.

Leave the page file alone. Period. Those that wrote the OS know far more
than you or I about memory management.
