Memory Usage Issue

Since Messenger takes so much memory while open and it can be a pain to
mouse around to get it back open when needed. Can you add a time delay to
drop the memory usage when it has been open but idle? That way when someone
needs it they don't have to mouse around to get it open or select a contact.

Any comments as to why this would or would not work is appreciated.
