Message cannot be found

How come messages that could previously be seen in
preview pane suddenly, and seemingly without cause,
instead give the following "Informational" message
when I return to them?

The contents of this message cannot be found.

A few of the common reasons
-Message store is corrupt
-Folder the index points to is not present
-Message is not present in the folder the index points to
-Message deleted by user in Explorer and not in WLM
-Message no longer available on server
-Operating WLM in Offline mode
