Hi, 'vista sucks'
You are saying that Vista is no good when your problem or annoying screen
that appears has nothing whatsoever to do with Vista.
The screen you see in a proprietory one put on by Acer, most mass produced
PC put out by Acer, Dell, HP, etc. a loaded with each manufacturers programs
and features which are not part of Vista (any version).
Read thru the link below for info for ways which you can improve your
experience of Vista.
Many people have been running Vista for well over 12 mths and experience
few, if any serious problem because they have taken the time to understand
and work with a new OS, the problem you hear & read about are really in the
minority.
Personnally I run Vista on 2 PC (1 new, and 1 not so new) and another with
Linux all are networked (locally & internet) and share fies, virtual PC
installed, also Media Centre connected.
My problem have been minor and easily remedied and if any problems do arise
the various discussion groups are most helpful.
If you require further advise or info post to the erequired discussion group
with full details/ info about you problem and I am sure someone will more
than likely able to assist.
Happy computing & a great festive season
