messager not loading

hi I have the latest version of msn live messager . I tried using msn
explorer 7.2 the other day and it would not work and I got rid of it but
now my windows live messager wont even load. wheni clickon it nothing
happens however the its process shows up in task manager it dos not showup
anyware else. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and even system
restore. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on what I can try?
