Hello,
When I send an IM to someone on my contact list I receive an error message
saying the message could not be delivered, even though the contact is online.

If the contact sends me a message, I can then reply without a problem. Does
anyone know why this could be happening?

I did uninstall and re-install but still the same problems.

I too am having this problem, but what is worse is that some people can see
me and respond and others just dont get the messages to start with. I only
recieve the message saying it could not be delivered as well

Greetings,

If you've been using handwriting, after awhile you will need to completely close and restart
Messenger or else this will start happening.

It's a lousy bug.

I am also having this problem. I live on the other side of the world from my
family and this is the main way for me to communicate with them and i'm not
getting half the messages! This is ridiculous, plus i have some people who I
can't even speak too! I don't use thee handwrite tab so what else could the
problem be?

No, I don't use handwriting.

The one person I was experiencing this with ( hubby away) , I can now send
messages to. Apparently all the contacts on his list were experiencing the
same thing. I wonder if it was on his end?????

I don't really chat with anyone else so I am not sure if this is with them
as well.

Have a great day

Michelle
