dylana,
I have experienced the same problem when both parties use the new version of
Live Messenger (vers. 14.), and both of us are using WinXP Pro, with all the
updates. Constant disconnects with both audio and video call, after about 3
mins or so. This has been going on since the newer version was released. I
had to revert back to the older version (8.5).
I wonder if vers. 14 is more suited, or more compatible for Vista, then with
XP, anyone have an opinion on that?

hey guys im having problems making a video call using the new messenger
2009.
my friend was the one who first downloaded the 2009 version and at that
time I was still using 8.5 version. we did not have any problems using
video call , but when I downloaded the 2009 version and started to use
video call with my friend who is using a 2009 version as well , msn
could not detect any cam on my pc. Its kind a weird b'coz when I was
still using the 8.5 version everything works well with the video call.
But when my friend and I both use the 2009 version of msn we cant use
the video call, its either msn cannot detect cam on my pc or her
pc.
Now I went back to 8.5 and she's using the latest version:cry: is there
a limitation in msn that you cant make video call if you're both using
the 2009 version?
:cry::cry:help ppls..
