Messenger 8 (Live, Beta) Loses Settings

I recetnly added another user account to my WinXP and I started noticing this
problem with MSN Messenger 8 - settings stored on my local computer, such as
display picture and personal message, is lost every time I log out. Settings
stored on the MSN server, like the nickname, retains. It appears this is some
sort of configuration issue on the local computer but I can't figure it out.

How can I have Messenger retain my display pic and personal message again?

Oh and, I made sure the "This is a shared computer" option under the Security
tap is NOT checked.
