messenger again

windows messenger, when i open it and login i get this error

this application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found?

i have tried reinstalling it with no luck

Try MSN Messenger.

it is msn messenger they are the same thing now,

i am using windows live messenger,

I know you have a Vista, but check this out. Same problem with XP MCE and XP
Tablet PC Edition.
