Messenger connection problem

Hi

Just upgraded to Vista. Lovely OS but I can't get messenger live to work.
I've made no network changes and have turned off the Windows firewall, but
still I keep getting Error Code 81000306.

I get a line of green ticks if I trouble shoot except on the lines "IE's
Offline Settings" and "wireless", they show blank spaces rather than green
ticks. I'm not using wireless.

If I go to the Messenger Tools > Options > Connections > Advanced Settings >
both TCP and HTTP tests work successfully, SOCKS does not... but all entries
in the SOCKS settings are blank.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I'm using Messenger Live 8.1 (build 8.1.0178.00)

Thanks

Matt
