Messenger doesn't switch to "away" when I'm idle

For some reason, Messenger no longer switches my status to "away" when I am
idle. I have it set to switch after I'm idle for 5 minutes and it has always
done so until a few days ago when it mysteriously stopped. It just always
says I am "online" now. Any ideas why this would happen? Please help! Thanks.

Greetings Caz,

Unfortunately this problem is usually difficult to figure out, as its usually some
application which is using some trick for a feature and causing Messenger to think that your
PC is in active operation.

If you've installed any applications recently, make sure they're not running and see if you
can determine which application it is that's causing the problem.
