Is messenger down today????

Using 8.5 on a Vista 64bit machine. I keep getting the error 81000314 that
messenger service is not available. Is this the case because Net. services
say they are up and running. Thanks

All live services are down - another good PR day for the service!

It seems to be working more now, it should just keep trying.

It's Live ID that's down, not Messenger or Hotmail. If you were signed in prior to the
problems, you should have full access.
