I assume it reconnects without issue and then the cycle repeats?
If you're using Vista or Win7, you may want to try turning off the auto tuning networking
feature. To turn off this feature, open up an elevated command prompt and type the following:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

Other things apply like if you have bittorrent traffic on your local network, it's not
uncommon to be disconnected from Messenger if its saturated your connection (or any router
you have might not be able to keep up), in which case you may want to tone down the torrent
connection settings.
