I am running Norton Internet Security and System Works 2006 on MCE 2005 with
Messenger Live and Live Toolbar. Does Norton fully support Messenger Live?
I have had some trouble signing out of and into MSN.com.

Yes, Norton Internet Security and System Works 2006 should both fully
support Windows Live Messenger.

I just got rid of Norton 2006 and went with Windows Live One care Norton did
something nasty with the IE7 beta 3 My pc slowed to a screeching halt so I
uninstalled norton and it turned out to be my system wide problem I went
with One Care and no more problems.

Hi Alan,

Did you make any changes to your firewall settings or are they all at their
default settings? Have you run a Manual Program scan for other programs NIS
may be blocking? Are you running IE 7? You may want to search the Symantec
website's knowledge based articles under the keywords "Changing Internet
Access Control settings" or "Changing firewall rule settings".
