Messenger Live still disconnecting within secs of start

Messenger live drops my internet connection. Goes on and off constantly. All
when I try to use it. Since installing windows 7.

Still having the same issue with windows messenger. After I installed
windows 7. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. Still the same issue. Not sure
what else I can do from here.

I have looked at the modem I used. All that I saw. Said that it should be
fine to use with the OS.

Any help would be great. If you know how I can sign on without getting
disconnected within secs.

There is a small possibility that the Windows 7 networking autotuning feature is causing
this. You can do turn it off by opening up an elevated command prompt and
typing the following:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
