Messenger not adding contacts

Hey guys,

Something is up here.

I've had my suspicions for a while, but now can confirm.

When I add new contacts, their email address shows when I filter for it.

But they don't get added....

I've uninstalled, and reinstalled with no joy.

Any help would be appreciated.
