Messenger not available in 2nd user account.

I have just set up the laptop with a clean install of XP pro sp2. All
updates barring IE7 now installed.

I have set up 2 user profiles 1 named administrator and 1 named User. Both
at the moment have full admin rights and identical settings.

I installed live messenger and then logged in as User with usual laptop id.
This works ok and populates the contacts list. This id is visible on the
home network and can connect to contacts. I then log out of messenger.

Logging in to the administrator profile I tried logging in to the laptop id
and it brings up the messenger window with the id name at the top but with
an error message about connections. It hasnt populated the contacts list and
is shown on the network as off line. It has access to the internet.

I assumed it was objecting to the same id being used for either user even
though I was logging off each time, so I created a 2nd messenger id. But
again it wont add contacts and shows as offline.

The connection error is " Due to a connection problem, changes you make
might not be applied to other computers you use"

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Fixed.

SSL 3.0 wasnt ticked on the advanced tab of internet options under security
settings of IE.

So when I said setting were identical I was obviously mistaken.
