messenger sends my cell phone email alerts when i am away

How do i turn this option off - it is costing me a FORTUNE in text messages
to my cell phone. i sent the message to my cell phone initailly and then had
to type in the code it sent to my phone now i can't find ANYWHERE how to turn
off this feature - HELP??!!!

I know what you mean, you can turn this off at http://alerts.live.com. Choose Edit Delivery
next to the necessary alerts and remove the mobile option.
