Messenger Taskbar windows not flashing.

I recently upgraded to Vista from xp home (its a nightmare to say the least,
no drivers for alot of my hardware even though the upgrade advisor said it
was ok, and its a new pc. Go figure...) and since the upgrade anytime that I
use Messenger (I use it with my job) and someone sends me a message the
conversation window in the taskbar does not flash (Yes I have this option
selected in the options). This is quite annoying as I have to keep checking
my conversation windows. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall
messenger live but no dice.

Any ideas?

Greetings Jim,

I see this infrequently myself, usually when the Messenger window has grouped itself on the
taskbar. However, it's not very often.

However, are you using Messenger Plus! with the tab feature on? If so, this is not
compatible with Vista (they'll rarely blink at all).

Yes I am running Messenger plus with tabs. I will disable that to see how it
goes.
